The Kansas City Zoo is having a photo contest, of zoo photography taken by visitors in the last year. Well by crikey, I'm going to have to enter a few shots! I narrowed it down to a large handful that I will print out and submit. Anyone care to vote on these, which ones you like, which ones would be better off not submitted?

Personally I'd say the sea lion or hippo. Good poses.
Number 20 is very good. The contrast in colors, the log behind the Gazelles (ok, I think that's what they are), gives the perception the camera is off angle, the horns of the animals swooping toward the outside edges give is a sense of movement, and the one's head overlaid in front of the other one adds depth.
Hog Bath!
Joel, I'd like to say that the kudu shot (#20) was a willful work of composition, a piece of artistry where I deliberately aligned the subject and background to contrast boldly in colour and texture.....but that'd be a load of old cobblers, honestly. I have no artistry whatsoever, I just take a lot of pics at the zoo. That particular one was selected because of the facial expression of the kudu on the right, that seemed to be enquiring if the leftmost kudu happened to have any Grey Poupon.
Lisa and/or Kyle, by Hog Bath! you mean the large piece of raw barbeque in the kiddie pool? At first I thought you were using an Anglicized version of the Scots Gaelic expression "Huighe Beathe" which means something like "may I borrow a turnip".
If on the offchance you did mean the latter, then "Igha dum perfffh" which means "sorry, just fresh out of them at the moment".

19, 20, 25...I really like the sea lion one.
7, 9, 11, 12, 17 and 20.
I don't exactly how many you're entering, but I liked the head shots, kangaroos and gorilla.
Good luck.
