I've been mercilessly skewered.

But the biggest role that Jazz plays in white culture is in the white fantasy of leisure. All white people believe that they prefer listening to jazz over watching television. This is not true. Every few a months, a white person will put on some Jazz and pour themselves a glass of wine or scotch and tell themselves how nice it is. Then they will get bored and watch television or write emails to other white people about how nice it was to listen to Jazz at home. "Last night, I poured myself a glass of Shiraz and put Charlie Parker on the Bose. It was so relaxing, I wish I had a fireplace."
I considered digging through the backlog of my blog and citing examples of the above, but the exercise would simply be too humiliating. Also:

Along with Jazz, white people have also taken quite a shine to The Blues, an art form that captured the pain of the black experience in America. Then, in the 1960s, a bunch of British bands started to play their own version of the music and white people have been loving it ever since. It makes sense considering that the British were the ones who created The Blues in the 17th Century.
Likewise, all over my blog. Can I help it that Bruce/Clapton/Baker tore it up?

I take it that by this he means that the Brits instituted the enslavement of blacks. What pompous know-knowing jerk! This guy needs a history book smacked upside his head- repeatedly- until all the snivelling, whiney stupid is knocked from him.

First, the British are the greatest liberators of slaves in history... history! The outlawed slavery in Britain in the early 1800's without having a bloody war. They were eradicating slavery the world over, wherever their empire extended. They were still liberating slaves as late as the early 1900's! Belief in the Bible was prolific in England so they had great compassion for any and all slaves, and they also sent scores of missionaries the world over to carry the gospel to those who were freed. Yes, imperialism had it's darkside, but it was mostly a blessing to those who were occupied. Just because those same people are a bunch of thankless ingrates today doesn't mean they didn't get any benefit from the Brits influence.

Second, "modern" slavery is easily distinguished because institutionalized slavery in the west had all but disappeared after the fall of Rome. The slave institutions became the feudal system as the West had Christianized. And even this system was more or less defunct by the 1400's. The Reformation finished it off- because people were embracing and preaching the Bible, and freedom, as they go hand in hand.

So where did the resurgance of institutionalized slavery come from in the West? It came from Spain. Everywhere Spain occupied, there was slavery. It spread out from Spain and become en vogue for the aristocracy but, as evident in England above all else, was rejected by most western Christians. Where did Spain get this unsavory practice from? They got it from the Moors- the Islamic jihadists who had invaded and occupied the Iberian peninsula for hundreds of years. The Moors brought with them institutionalized slavery because they got it from the Muslim Arabs who in turn got it from Mohammad. It is written into the Koran and the Hadith and is very much still part of Muslim culture. This is why as late as the early 1900's, Britain colonialized Kenya: they were fighting the Omani Arab slave trade! The muslims would go deep inland and steal Africans back to the coast to ship them up to Oman for sale. The Brits built Nairobi as the terminus of a rail system for supplying troops to end this slave trade. Yes, there were some Brits who took advantage as well, but villages ceased to be raided by Muslims, families ceased to be torn apart by violence as people were stolen into slavery.

So this clown needs to get a clue. Oh let me guess, is he Nation of Islam? Yeeeeeah, the "black man's" religion. What a joke.

Maybe the white dude/dudette who writes things white people like should go back to school and learn how to write better. For example, his first sentence is "...the final stage is never reached because white people are work tirelessly to keep it alive." Something is amiss. I would think with the number of hits his/her site has had it would have hirer standards for publication, or at least get an editor.

Must be those hirer standards that I didn't learn in school. All these years I thought it was spelled "higher". Guess I have a lot to learn.

Sorry, JP, I couldn't help it! It was only because of the sentence in which it was located! :D

And there Debtoneufer illustrates the white people's love of irony.

Maybe it's meaningful, maybe it's not. said...
